About Deborah Priß

I am a geoarchaeologist with a special interest in human-environment interactions. I did my BA in Archaeology (Bochum, Germany) and my MSc in Geoarchaeology (Heidelberg, Germany). Currently, I am part of the EU Horizon2020 funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN “i-CONN”, doing my PhD as Early Stage Researcher at Durham University, UK. My project focusses on route networks of two case studies in the Near East. I am using agent-based modelling and network analysis to evaluate the significance of connectivity between ancient settlements for their resilience.
